“5 GRAPPOLI” in Bibenda Guide 2017

It’s official: Bosco Del Merlo makes a new toast to the “5 Grapes” award in Bibenda Guide 2017, essential benchmark for Italian and international enological critics.

Bosco del Merlo produces typical wines the territory, proudly putting together tradition, culture and courage. Thanks to the “Reasoned Viticulture” ambitious project, the estate uses the most advanced techniques and sustainable technologies, in total respect of the ethics and the environment in which it operates. This allows to offer a quality without compromises for the maximum satisfaction for customers.

The 100 hectares of green vineyards are located on the border between Veneto and Friuli, two Italian regions of immense wine tradition.

Bibenda Guide has always believed in the company: Bosco del Merlo was the winner of the 5 Grapes (maximum score of tasting) and the Oscar of Wine for the Best Label also in 2001. At that time Vineargenti was recently born, son of an ambitious project: the combination of wine and art, a red aged wine and a label designed by the famous artist Fabrizio Plessi.

An Excellent summary of enology and art, reconfirmed by the 5 Grapes award! An honor and a huge satisfaction, for the recognition of a “indestructible quality”: Vineargenti Riserva, from grapes 70 % Merlot and 30 % Refosco, portraits in its label the vitality of an ancient vine that breaks out from the screen of a computer flooded with wine, it represents the fertile and vital relationship between technology, man and nature.

In this glorious period of time, Vineargenti has been decorated with numerous other awards, signs of its superior quality: Gold Medal at the Mondial du Merlot – Switzerland -, in Berlin, at the Mayor’s Selection of the City of Wine.

The 5 Grapes award ceremony will take place Saturday 19th November in Rome, in the beautiful surroundings of the Rome Cavalieri Hotel, headquarters of Bibenda and Fondazione Italiana Sommelier, with a sumptuous gala dinner. Vineargenti 2013 will be presented in tasting to all guests with the other winning wines.
